Election Board

The following are appointments to the National Nomination and Elections Board pursuant to provisions of Articles 24 and 25 of Ford-Kenya Constitution to organize proper Nominations for 2017 General Elections and subsequent Grassroots elections:





Ms.Khadija Mustaffa (Director of Elections) –Secretary



Mr.Stephen K. Namusyule – Executive Director – Ex-Officio Member



Mrs.Caroline Oduor-Member

Ms. Oduor is an Advocate and a Partner in the firm of NOW Advocates, LLP. She heads the firm’s Consultancy, Commercial and Corporate Department. In that respect, she is tasked with undertaking legal Consultancies such as Legal Audits and Legislative drafting; Corporate Statutory Compliance; Commercial Civil Litigation and Dispute resolution; Legal advisory opinion to corporate entities such as State Corporations, Public Benefit Organizations (PBO’s), Political parties and Registered Societies.Additionally, she has an interest in public governance hence her membership to FORD-Kenya where she is a Member of the Party National Executive Committee and Management Committee. She also represents the Party in court related matters.Ms. Oduor is a graduate in Law from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing Masters of Laws in International Commercial Law from Salford University in conjunction with Robert Kennedy College (RKC).She is an Advocate of the high Court of Kenya with over 10 years experience in private practice. Her professional qualifications include Certified Public Secretary (CPSK)



Mr. Bramwell Simiyu

Mr. Bramwell Simiyu: is a holder of an MBA from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), he has over 15 years’ experience in enterprise and private sector development. He served as the country liaison officer for the Centre for Development of
Enterprises (CDE) and has consulted widely for the EU, UNDP, World Bank and Government of Kenya on private sector development. He has served as a Director of the Export Promotion Council, Kenya’s premier institution in the development and promotion of export trade where he chaired the Strategy Committee. He is a Director in charge of strategy and partnerships at the SME Africa Trust and is currently under-taking MSc degree in entrepreneurship from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Among is key competences are in the areas of strategic planning, Enterprise Risk Management, corporate governance as well as Leadership and Management skills.Mr. Simiyu is the founder and CEO of Kuku Bora Limited, an emerging force in the poultry sector in Western Kenya. He is also the Managing Partner of RegioTrade Limited, a dynamic management consultancy firm working with a wide spectrum of clients to identify new innovations and opportunities that drive their growth and development.
